Modern Electrical Contracting (MEC) is a Perth-based electrical contractor specializing in commercial electrical services, industrial electrical solutions, and power generation sectors. We provide a comprehensive range of electrical services including installations, scheduled maintenance, data and communications cabling, CCTV and security systems, switchboard manufacturing, and power generation support to businesses across Perth and the surrounding Western Australian region.
Founded by Corey Bertolini and Nino Genovese, MEC is committed to delivering the standards of professionalism, reliability, and technical capability expected of large-scale contracting companies while maintaining the responsiveness and personal attention of a locally owned business. This unique approach allows us to manage projects of significant scale and complexity without losing sight of the specific requirements of each client we serve.
Every project is approached with a hands-on, detail-oriented methodology that addresses the compliance, safety, and operational demands particular to commercial and industrial environments. This consistent approach, regardless of project size or sector, has established Modern Electrical Contracting as a trusted partner for organizations that require dependable electrical infrastructure delivered on schedule and to code.
Modern Electrical Contracting provides comprehensive commercial electrical services throughout the entire project lifecycle from design, installation, and ongoing maintenance for clients in the commercial, industrial, and mining sectors across Western Australia. Our capabilities encompass switchboard manufacturing, power generation, dewatering electrical systems, data and communications infrastructure, as well as commercial fit-outs and upgrades. This allows clients to work with a single contractor for every stage of their projects instead of relying on a mix of different trades.
With over 40 years of combined hands-on experience, our team has successfully delivered industrial electrical solutions for leading organisations such as OPS Group, National Pump Energy, Parker Hannifin, and Fenner. In these cases, compliance, reliability, and minimal downtime are not just goals; they are standard practices.
